Basic Bath Bomb

• 2 cups Baking Soda 

• 1 cup Citric Acid

• 1/2 oz. skin-safe fragrance oil of choice

• Witch Hazel in a spray bottle

• Cosmetic Safe Colorant (If Desired)

 

Mix together 2 cups baking soda and 1 cup citric acid. 

Add 1/2 oz. skin-safe fragrance Oil, and a few drops of cosmetic safe colorants if desired

 

While adding ingredients, keep constantly stirring to keep mixture from clumping. 

Now begin to spray mixture with witch hazel in small amounts, (1 or 2 sprays) and 

mix quickly. Keep doing this until mixture reaches a point that you can squeeze it in 

your hand and it holds form, but not so wet that it starts fizzing.

 

Now press into your molds and let dry 24 hours before using.
