This one right out of the bottle is very strong. I had to blot it and let it air out a bit before trying to analyze what I was smelling. It mostly smells very strongly of cedar, which is really nice for a fire fragrance. It has a sweet, smoky body to it, but that died off pretty quickly and I was left with cedar and what smelled like a bit of vanilla. I still really like it, but I wish the smokiness would stick better. I'll try anchoring it with kaolin and see if that helps.

To me this smells like the leftover smoldering coals after a bonfire has been put out. I tried it in CP soap, it rounded out the fragrance a bit and faded some but it did stay pretty true to what it smelled like OOB.
