Impressed and immediately recognizable!
I must say, I am continuously impressed by how spot-on Indigos duplication fragrances are! I have an old bottle of Chanel No 5 thats actually empty, but sometimes if Im lucky and spray it to death, I can get a droplet more to come out! I love this classic aroma so much & when I smelled Indigos FO of this iconic fragrance, I was overjoyed! Without a doubt, my nose recognized this scent immediately! The original Chanel No 5 was first released in 1921 & its said Gabrielle Coco Chanel chose the 5th sample perfumer Ernest Beaux presented to her. During that time, more & respectable ladies wore single-note floral perfumes, and Its said Mademoiselle Chanel wanted to demonstrate that women could be sexy, sophisticated & pure all at the same time. The perfume was a blend of rose, jasmine, ylang ylang, sandalwood & strong percentages of aldehydes to give the fragrance a clean note, reminiscent to fresh laundry, but also a menagerie of florals that sort of transcended singularly-noted floral perfumes traditionally worn during that time. It's truly an aroma that will never go out of style, and this FO captures that precisely & beautifully! I only purchased an ounce, as I wanted to smell it first before committing to more, but I was so impressed with its accuracy, I will absolutely be back for more! Despite being a floral fragrance, I had no problems soaping with this FO & my little test batch smells INCREDIBLE! Performance in CP was great, and now Im thinking of even more applications I cant wait to use this fragrance in! Indigo, you keep rocking my world with your duplication scents! Thank you!!
