This is strangely great if that makes sense. It is not something I loved OOB but I made a bunch of wax tarts and they smell wonderful once they cure. The throw is great and I sell out everytime.

That's how my roommate described it. We both love the smell of old books, old wood, libraries and bookstores that have such smells. This is nothing like it.
Might I suggest that you actually smell these things individually, and then create the scents of old wood, old books, etc. individually. Then blend them together to get the smell right.

I have truly mixed feelings about this scent. I want to love it. I love the smell of paper, and I was really hoping that this one was going to hit the nail on the head. Something is just a little off on it... The scent is very strong. I made a second test batch of candles at .8 oz/lb of wax an it was a little more tolerable. I may still decrease, but I don't want to lose the scent either. I'll sell them and see how they sell, and if people buy into the novelty, I'm sure I'll come back for more.
