Right out of the bottle, it smells like maple glazed pecans. Not a bad smell, but not even close to books, paper, or wood. I did a blot test to see how it dries down. I am in love with the dry down. Its sultry - a nice blend of nutty and sweet, with a light floral background, and a touch of cool crisp ozone overtones. Still not books, but really lovely. I am going to try blending it with grass or hay and maybe some leather to see if i can get a book-ier blend. The smell itself deserves 5 stars, but the initial letdown of not getting the fragrance i was so excited about has hindered my feelings about it.

I have to tell you that I am not a huge fan of this scent- but my customers love it ! I have had several people in the past few days alone call me wanting more. And I listen to my customers so I am back for more.

I bought a sample vial since this can be such an iffy smell but I fell in love with it. I made my own shampoos and perfumes and got many compliments.
