Although this is awesome on its own (I agree with the musty book scent here), it smells great paired with fig and olive as well.

This is a perfect scent to represent a library, but it must be used correctly. It has subtle hints of vanilla and old books/magazines. I use only 1/6th of what I would usually use and it comes out perfect!

Right out of the bottle, it smells like maple glazed pecans. Not a bad smell, but not even close to books, paper, or wood. I did a blot test to see how it dries down. I am in love with the dry down. Its sultry - a nice blend of nutty and sweet, with a light floral background, and a touch of cool crisp ozone overtones. Still not books, but really lovely. I am going to try blending it with grass or hay and maybe some leather to see if i can get a book-ier blend. The smell itself deserves 5 stars, but the initial letdown of not getting the fragrance i was so excited about has hindered my feelings about it.
